Arden R.
Yale University

Arden graduated summa cum laude from Yale University with a Bachelor's in Classics (Latin). A member of Phi Beta Kappa, he was awarded the George A. Schrader Humanities prize at graduation for his contribution to the cultural life of the college. Arden has a deep love of language: he is fluent in French, has translated a novel from German, and studied Ancient Greek along with Latin at Yale. This strong linguistic background, combined with his great fondness for puzzle-solving and logic, makes him an excellent tutor on both the English and Math sections of standardized tests.

Arden scored 2340 on the SAT, achieving a perfect score in Critical Reading and reaching the 98th percentile in Math. He received perfect scores on all three of his SAT IIs: Literature, French, and Molecular Biology. Empathetic, friendly, and enthusiastic, Arden has an infectious passion for learning. Outside IvyGlobal, his creative pursuits include songwriting and composition, video game design, and a contemporary translation/adaptation of Goethe's 1774 novel The Sorrows of Young Werther.



Amelia M.
Queen's University

Amelia is currently completing her studies in English Literature at Queen's University. She plans to attend law school next fall. Amelia scored in the 99th percentile (175) on the LSAT and has six years of experience tutoring students of all ages in a variety of subjects. In addition to her expertise in standardized tests, Amelia has a flair for competitive debating. She is the former President of the Queen's Debating Union and has travelled to compete in tournaments all over the world.

Amelia has worked as a speechwriter, policy analyst and communications coordinator. She uses her strong communication and analytical skills in combination with her knowledge of exam strategy to help students perform to the best of their abilities on test day. She's an enthusiastic tutor, and loves watching her students succeed.



Isabel C.
University of Toronto

Isabel is a high-achieving undergraduate student at the University of Toronto. She scored in the 97th percentile on her SSAT and in the 98th percentile on the SAT. She graduated from the academically rigorous University of Toronto Schools with a 93% average and a certificate of bilinguilism in English and French.

She focuses on incorporating lived experience and intersectionality into her academic work and her life outside of academia, and is currently an executive member at the University of Toronto Sexual Education Centre. In her spare time, she enjoys attending community events, playing piano, practicing her French, and rereading her favourite books.



Jessica T.
University of Toronto

Jessica is a recent graduate of the Ontario Institute For Studies in Education at the University of Toronto with a Bachelor's degree in Education. She is an Ontario Certified Teacher who also holds a Honours Bachelor of Arts in English and Drama Studies from York University, Glendon College. Jessica is also certified to teach Special Education and has extensive experience working with students who learn differently.

Jessica strives to teach in innovative and creative ways that cater to her students' individual strengths and learning styles. She believes that the essence of teaching is to create meaningful relationships with each student that will ignite in them a passion for life-long learning. Jessica plans to pursue a Master's degree in Children's Literature and in her spare time enjoys writing, theatre, music, and biking.



Tonya C.
Queen's University

Tonya is a graduate of Queen's University with a degree in Political Science. She scored 1530 out of a possible 1600 on the SAT, with a perfect 800 in Critical Reading and 730 in Math.

Tonya is a gifted communicator and helps provide a learning environment that is both fun and productive for her students. She specializes in preparing students for standardized tests like the SAT and SSAT. She has prepared dozens of students for the SAT and SSAT, teaching extensively both in a classroom setting and in one-on-one environments. She finds aptitude tests fun and simple, a sentiment that she brings to her students.



Zoe M.
University of Toronto

Zoe holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Research Psychology with a minor in English from the University of Toronto, graduating with high distinction. While at U of T, she was on the Dean’s List and received merit scholarships every year. She also worked as a research assistant in a social psychology lab, a cognitive neuroscience lab, and a vision science lab. She attended a bilingual international school, and is fluent in French.

Zoe scored 2270 on the SAT, with perfect scores in Critical Reading and Writing. She also scored a perfect 800 on the English Literature and French Subject Tests. In the GRE’s, Zoe scored a perfect 800 in both reading and writing. Zoe’s passion is teaching. She genuinely enjoys taking standardized tests like the SAT, and her goal is to help students enjoy it too! She is patient, interested, and empathetic. In her free time, Zoe volunteers at the Aphasia Centre, goes exploring on her bike, watches old BBC documentaries, and makes art.
